User Executive Body

The User Executive Body (UEB) is composed of OCHA, UNHCR on the UN side; THW (and DFID tbc) on the national user side; IFRC on the NGO side, RELEX and ECHO (tbc) on the EC side.

It is already working as a network, while the only open issue remains to the fact that its physical meetings are difficult to organise (Brussels or Geneva?). It is accepted that UEB can act as a network and respond via e-mail to questions and provide advice outside formal meetings.

It has been operational since November 2007 (as reported at the last annual meeting), although membership may change in Phase 2 and 3 depending on Respond’s needs and the availability of key users.
